In this study, researchers at Sahyadri College of Pharmacy in India evaluated the in vitro anti-inflammatory and anthelmintic properties of Tectona grandis, also known as teak. Their findings were published in the International Journal of Herbal Medicine.
The researchers found that extracts derived from the leaves of T. grandis can significantly reduce inflammation and are effective against parasitic infections. These findings further support the use of this plant as a natural medicine.
