Angelicae dahuricae Radix (ADR), also known in Chinese medicine as bai zhi, has been linked to improvements in several inflammation-related conditions. The authors of a study published in the journal BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicine decided to look into the effects of ADR on atopic dermatitis (AR), also known as eczema.
These led the researchers to conclude that ADR can indeed suppress the progression of AD and thus, can be used as a treatment for the condition.
